BLACK HIGHWAYFormed in 2008 in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture by former high school classmates in the light music club.
The band's name comes from the color black, a common band name, plus the deep purple Highway Star.
They have performed at many live houses, mainly in Shiga Prefecture, and in 2010 they planned the summer festival "SUICA FASTA" at Ishiyama U-STONE, which closed with great success.
Influenced by Japanese rock from the 80s and 90s, the band's style is characterized by straightforward 8-beat punk rock.
