Artist Profile

Asako YoshihiroAsako Yoshihiro Born in Nagoya, currently living in Kamakura A singer-songwriter who sings "prayers" dedicated to everyday life. When her heart suddenly relaxes upon feeling Kamakura's sky, water, wind, and light - in those "moments of rediscovering herself" - she weaves together the words and sounds born from those experiences to deliver songs that celebrate the harmony between people and nature. When you immerse yourself in her crystal-clear voice, your heart unwinds, and you remember that you, too, are a part of nature. Since her debut in 1999, in addition to her solo work, she has been actively performing with vocal duos such as "Long Brunch," "Bon Voyage," and "The Cloudtails." In particular, "Sunny Girl" by her predecessor group, the mixed-gender duo Bon Voyage, has been streamed over 400,000 times in China, South Korea, Taiwan, and elsewhere, and continues to be loved by listeners on social media and streaming platforms to this day. She has also lent her voice to many major projects, including the KIRIN "Hyoketsu" commercial jingle, South Korea's MAXIM magazine, and KONAMI's popular game "Pop'n Music." Her music resonates across a wide range of genres. In 2025, she successfully held her "25th Anniversary Live" at Sam's Up in Yokohama, and is now celebrating her 26th year in the music industry. Through her long career, she has reflected on the "light and shadow" of life. While empathizing with and helping others overcome the struggles and sorrows that everyone faces, she continues to deliver songs that resonate deeply with the soul.
