akiraIn his 20s, Akira moved to Okinawa to pursue music. As a member of "Shimauta Yaninju" led by Koken Yoza, he performed Okinawa folk music almost daily on Kokusai Street, supporting the band with acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies.After returning from Okinawa, he performed at various events with his own unit, "Basshirain". In addition to his roots in Okinawan music, he also writes and composes J-Pop.Currently, as the representative of "Guitar Voice Lab.", he is active as an artist, guitar instructor, and therapist, energetically expanding his activities through songwriting and live performances.
