ajihengajiheng is a five-piece band from Osaka, Japan, formed in 2022.
We don't believe music belongs inside a single genre.
Pop, hip-hop, R&B, soul, jazz, reggae, rock and beyond - the different musical roots of our five members collide, blend, and transform into something unpredictable.
That's where our name comes from. In Japanese, "AJIHEN" means to change or transform the flavor of something. For us, every musical influence is a spice - something to mix, twist, break apart, and reshape into our own sound.
A single ajiheng song can shift its atmosphere, groove, genre, and color several times, while expressive vocals move between different voices, emotions, and textures.
But ajiheng is, above all, a LIVE band.
Our music isn't fully complete until it reaches the stage - where five different personalities collide and become one explosive energy. We want to move people, make them dance, surprise them, make them laugh, and leave them feeling something they didn't expect.
