AIR was formed up in 2005 by Masayo Nakanishi, vocal & piano and Takashi Nishi, vocal & percussion. Mainly performing in Tokyo and Yokohama in Japan. In 2013, when they have a chance to perform in front of legendary New York Voices in the U.S., they told AIR was rebirth of late Jackie & Roy. In 2014, they sang National Anthem of Japan in the season's starting match of Japanese pro baseball held in Tokyo Dome. 4 CDs have been released during 12 years including the latest one "The Other Side" released in end of March, 2017. AIR covers the broad area of music like jazz, Brazilian, pops, rocks etc. with their taste of matured sense.
