Date of birth: 26th of January 1982 Birthplace: Japan (Saitama) Debuted in 1999 as an active high school singer with 'Anata no kisu o kazoemashô - You Were Mine.' 'Koyanagi the Covers PRODUCT 1' which was released in May 2000 was her first western music cover album to reach number 1 on Oricon charts. Released duet with Kashif, a heavyweight in the American R&B scene who is famous for being Whitney Houston's producer. Performed collaboration with members of BOYZ II MEN, Nathan Morris & Shawn Stockman in 2002. Performed together with BOYZ II MEN in a live appearance at the pre-final match event of the FIFA 2002 World Cup. Performed first fully fledged live acoustic at Orchard Hall at the end of the same year. Completed four large scale concert tours all over the country and has appeared 3 times on NHK`s Kōhaku Uta Gassen. She has been able to expand her unique world using her overwhelming presence with original releases that make use of her exceptional singing talent and western cover songs. Released cover song for Donna Summer's 'MacArthur Park' and Whitney Houston's 'All At Once' in July 2012. Performed at the large scale 2012 Tainan Music Festival in September where artists from Taiwan, Japan and Korea perform. First musical debut performance as Glinda, the good witch from the south in Amon Miyamoto's musical production, 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.' Released duet song 'Here for You' with Grammy Award winner, Peabo Bryson in September 2014. In recent years she has been performing with an orchestra at billboards classics festival. In June 2018 she also had her first full orchestra solo performance. Her new appeal blossoms as she continues to evolve.
