UtaiyaImmersed in music since childhood, he began performing as a band vocalist in his late teens, soon turning to original songwriting and developing his own unique style. Based in Yokohama, he has been an active presence in amateur band events, indie label showcases, and regular live performances at venues such as Yokohama BB Street. His sound is rooted in rock, blending elements of pop and acoustic to create a distinctive expression.
His lyrics capture raw emotions and everyday stories: the survival instinct of "Still ALIVE", the fragile tension of "Bloom or Fall", the modern heartache of "Tap Back." Sometimes he pushes forward with the cry of "TRY," other times he embraces fate with "Come What May." These words reach beyond boundaries to stir the listener's heart.
Guided by the belief that "music knows no genre," he seeks to create songs that resonate across generations and cultures. Drawing inspiration from diverse styles, he continues to evolve. Recently, he has been releasing songs by entrusting his own poetry to AI-generated composition and vocals, and in April 2025, he successfully completed the ambitious "100 Songs Project."
