UNCOVER HIVESUNCOVER HIVES' vocalist Tomoya and guitarist Katoshin were previously members of the dance rock band C SQUARED. Building on that experience, they launched their new band, UNCOVER HIVES, in 2024. Starting with their first single "POP IS DEAD" in July, they released their second, third, fourth, and fifth singles, "Buried Gold," "Rakuen," "Strategy," and "Blood Orange," one after the other, and on March 26, 2025, they released their first album, "UNCOVER HIVES." A DIY music video was also released alongside the single, garnering significant attention for their unique creative style. The band's name combines the meanings of "UNCOVER," which refers to revealing one's inner thoughts and true feelings, and "HIVES," which refers to people who resonate with this and gather together to create enthusiastic interactions like a beehive. Although UNCOVER HIVES played a part in the pop scene during the C SQUARED era, they were not an extension of that era, but rather were born by rejecting and redefining all pop culture and past activities. Their music transcends the boundaries of pop music and delves into a deeper essence.
