THE EARTH EARTH

Formed in 2010. A four-piece band living in Aomori Japan that has been active through hiatuses and member changes. To date they have released one mini-album and three full-length albums. (Featured in the Shoegaze Disc Guide published by Shinko Music Publishing) Since their formation. they have been selected to perform live both in and outside the prefectureand as an opening act for overseas artists visiting Japan. In 2022 they released their first self-titled album in nine years 'THE EARTH EARTH' from kilikilivilla. Since then they have been actively performing live in Nagoya Tokyo and various parts of Tohoku. The idea of fusing 90's shoegaze dream pop chillwave and sweet noise and indie pop that have invaded the world since the 1990s has finally come to fruition in Japan. With a sound and look reminiscent of a 90's UK indie band they have many overseas listeners. Their latest single 'my sweet empousa' will be released digitally on 2024.01.03.
