TAISHI YAMABEBorn in 1988 and raised in Kurashiki city, Okayama Prefecture.
Being familiar with drums from the age of 3 and went on stage as a member of Kurashiki Tenryo Daiko at the age of 6.
In 2004, won the highest award at youngest age ever in history at "Tokyo International Japanese Drum Competition / Big Drums Division"
Gained attention because people hailed me as "Once in 50 years".
Express every rhythm freely by Japanese drums with a unique sense of rhythm and outstandingly fast drumstick handling.
While expanding the place of activity as a professional player abroad, pursuing new possibility with the Japanese drums such as stage production or composition, and performing actively with other genres.
