TAEYOTAEYO (Taeyoung, 1994 - ) is an artist from Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan.
In 2016, he uploaded a playfully produced rap soundtrack to SoundClooud, which received a greater-than-expected response, and started his career under the name TaeyoungBoy.
On May 20, 2020, he changed his name from TaeyoungBoy to TAEYO and announced his major label debut from Pony Canyon. At the same time, "ASHURA" was released digitally. This song, his major label debut, was used as the ED theme for the NETFLIX original anime work "Kengan Ashura".
After releasing two albums, he has been working as an independent artist since 2025, and his music has been gaining support from many listeners both at home and abroad, including those under the name Taeyoung Boy.
