Sachi Hayasaka

Sachi Hayasaka (alt sax, soprano sax, composer) Sachi started "Stir Up!" in Tokyo and took part in Yosuke Yamashita Panja Orchestra, Yoshiaki fujikawa Orchestra, etc. She has enjoyed a great deal of success as one of the first female saxophone players to make it big in Japan. In the 1990s, she performed with German guitarist Hans Raichel in Europe including Moers Jazz Festival and has worked in New York, Germany and Korea since. Her work has mainly been with her band Minga in the Tokyo region since having her son in 1993. She has released 15 albums so far. In 2012, Sachi performed several concerts in Argentina as a member of TReS. She also collaborated with Dancing Mood and Sessiones which proved to be a huge success. She is invited to Buenos Aires Jazz Festival in the fall 2014.
