Ryuhei Koike

Ryuhei Koike (born in Tokyo, Japan), a singer and acoustic rhythm guitarist, has been playing the guitar in bonobos and LITTLE TEMPO. Spent his childhood in the U.S., he became a guitarist while studying at Waseda University - Graduate School of Education considering to engage in teaching. As his silky voice and rhythm guitar rooted in Reggae, BossaNova and Folk music were highly reputed, he started to play the guitar for numerous vocalists apart from his solo activities.   Koike has been working with multiple musicians from various genre such as Miyuki Hatakeyama, Ann Sally, Port of Notes, Ilid Kaolo, UA, Yasuyuki Horigome, Toshinobu Kubota, Toshl, RIP SLYME, Takehara Pistol, CIRCUS, VAN DYKE PARKS, OKI, and Wakadannna (Shonanno Kaze).   Besides being a musician, he works as a TVCM narrator for SONY, Sojitz, BRIDGESTONE, HONDA, MAZDA, spotify, Konica Minolta, YKK, Mitsubishi MUFG, IKEA, McDonald's, UNIQLO, Lotte and Sapporo.
