Ryo OgiharaRyo Ogihara grew up in an environment where music is around, such as playing the piano from an early age and playing the clarinet in a brass band when he was in elementary school.
At the age of 10, his father, an audiophile, gave him an acoustic guitar, and when he was a student, he devoted himself to studying various music such as jazz, rock, blues, and R & B, including playing by ear copy and ad lib. He participates in live performances and recordings of numerous artists. In 2007, he released his first leader album "Afica" recorded in BROOKLYN with NY musicians, and in 2013, released "Different Colors" produced with domestic cutting-edge musicians from "MOCLOUD RECORDS". In addition, he formed the jazz-funk unit "Dos Luna" and released four works, "Primero", "Segundo", "Tercero" and "Cuarto". In 2021, he released his latest album "With My Soul" from the up-and-coming jazz label "Days of Delight".
He is an artist who is very much looking forward to what kind of music he will play in the future.
