Rollo Formed as a guitar duo in 2005, and released their first vinyl "Pinhole" on Inoxia Records. After this release Rollo became a solo artist, putting out a follow-up release, "3". In 2014 Rollo opened for Earth (Seattle) at a show in Tokyo, Japan. Jim O'Rourke also played at that show. The live recording of Rollo from this show was released on CD, and was produced by Atsuo of Boris, like the first 2 vinyl albums. Using a different name, "Sleepy Lemon", he provided music to a film by Kohei Igarashi. The track "Floater" from the film soundtrack was released on cassette tape as a collaboration with fashion model, Ran Taniguchi, adding vocals. Rollo also produces music under his own name, Hideki Urawa, and has participated in works by Kikagaku Moyo.
