PawPawA mysterious and gently nostalgic sound is woven from Momis translucent vocals and Noguchis delicate voicings on the gut guitar. Their unique sonic world infused with an electronica-inspired approach has been highly praised by artists at the forefront of the music scene.
In live performances they place vocals at the core valuing space and silence and pursue a depth that emerges quietly through stillness.
In 2011 they received the Jurys Special Award at the Mona Records audition and released their first mini-album Itsuka no Yume nationwide. In 2023 they released their second mini-album Fushigi na Niwa followed by their third EP Return to Light in July 2025 as a digital release
All composition mixing and mastering are handled by Noguchi.
They also organize See The Light an event themed around resonance (sound) and light (visuals)
