SATOU NAOKO Percussionist/ Drummer She has worked actively as a multi-percussionist in a variety of genres including classical, contemporary Japanese music, jazz, folk music, pop and chanson, and has participated in numerous live support and recording of artists, stage music, film music, drama, commercials and game music.He is also good at improvisation music and performs with many jazz musicians and free-in-provider. She is familiar with music from a young age through electric tones.She started percussion instruments in the brass band of junior high school.From the age of 17, She began to learn to play drums for jazz drummers.She graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music.(Toho Gakuen College Music Department) She completed the research course.She studied percussion instruments for orchestra and modern music and keyboard percussion instruments by Sano Kyoichi, Abe Keiko and Kato Kuniko.After graduation, she began to teach herself Latin and ethnic percussion instruments.She studied Japanese percussion instruments to Hiromitsu Nishikawa.She has been with Orchestra Asia, a band of traditional instruments from Japan, China and South Korea, and has participated in performances both at home and abroad.She appeared in a documentary film called "Aruongaku" featuring Masakatsu Takagi's concert "Tai Rei Tei Rio"In 2009, based on the advice of Masakatsu Takagi, the solo percussion album satonaoko 108 was released, and the unique world view of improvisation of percussion instruments was well-received as "like a colorful painting."Available in May 2020.
