Nanako Ikeura

Japanese classic pianist. Graduated from Toho Gakuen University in the Department of Music, and completed the University Ensemble Diploma Course. After she studied under Prof.Norman Shetler in Vienna in 2015~17, she performed a solo concert in Vienna and performed with he at the Zushi Art Festival, and is described as "unparalleled beautiful tone and musicality away from the Japanese."   Debut recital in Tokyo in 2008. She performed numerous performance activities as an ensemble pianist, such as performing at music festivals in various places such as PMF Pacific Music Festival, accompaniment of master class, in the recital with Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra principal cellist, New Japan Philharmonic player, NHK symphony orchestra player, etc. And also she held solo recitals in 2012, 16 and 18. Producing new styles of experimental classical concerts such as "Music for the Heart" and "Season Classic Cafe", establishing "Ensemble Lounge", a community for freelance performers. She is also focusing on training ensemble pianists, such as writing "Tipps from the ensemble pianist", and holding ensemble workshops in Yokohama for pianists. In 2020, 1st. album "Into the forest" with original piano songs will be released.   Member of the Kamakura Music Club. Artist belonging to the art group 2008.
