1978 graduated KEIO univ. ( majored in sociology )
1977 at the 4th grade of the univ., debut as a singer ,
released the first album , " Funny Walking " ( Nippon Colombia records ),
and then 3 other solo albums" Sweet swinging "," Pillow Talk " , " Kissing fish " released in 2 years .
1980 Made up the new wave band named " Spy " .
And released the album " Spy " produced by Kazuhiko Kato ( Victor Entertainment )
1982 stopped music activities because of enormous interest in photography ,
started taking photographs .
And shortly started working as a professional photographer,
in the fileds of editorials and music CDs and so on .
1986 the photographs for the calendar of NISSAN motors,
received the 1 st prize of the international calendar contest
worked for advertisement like NISSAN " Blue Bird " catalog ,
NISSAN " SILVIA " TV commercial film , and a lot more .
1987 moved to France , lived in Paris for about 5 years ,
taking photographs and making short films .

2016 sand the title music of the movie named " The nit of flower " , " FUKIGENA KAKO " directed by Shiro Maeda
2018 released the album " Golden Remedy " ( licensed to P-VINE Records )
2018 released the album " Nioi " ( nanaco 's private )
Nioi means scent . The original music is all improv. recored in New York with Jesse Paris Smith on piano,
Rebecca Foon on cello . and add 2 of the new tracks for the album .
* Twiggy Twiggy is nanaco's song which she wrote for Maki Nomiya originally.
When Maki Nomiya became the lead singer of Pizzicato Five , they covered the song and got a world hit .
* Nanaco is also a professional photographer for commercials , editorial and album covers and so on .
