Mari Minoda

"Mari started playing violin at the age of four. She studied at Toho High School of Music, followed by graduation from Toho School of Music in 2004. She has studied with Toshiya Eto and Tomoko Kato. Currently studying in Royal College of Music Historical Violin. She is active in participating in various music festivals and seminars that include Aspen Music Festival, Saito Memorial Seminar on chamber music for youth, Opera Project by Seiji Ozawa juku . She has played in various professional orchestra ( modern and baroque) in Japan and had some experiences to concertmaster an orchestra and she also her solo recital 7th times since 2010. She also have her music ensemble groups (contemporary music and string trio) her organize and performe. She plays a wide range of music from baroque to contemporary music. In 2004, she performed a concerto with Japan Century Orchestra. She is also a member of Orchestra Libera Clasica ( baroque orchestra) director by Mr. Hidemi Suzuki who is the internationally baroque cellist and conductor. She performed chamber music with Mr . Hidemi Suzuki. She second prize winner of Osaka international competition (2003) and Silver award winner of JILA music competition(2004). She has studied the baroque violin with Natsumi Wakamatsu, Shunske Sato and Catherine Martin,"
