Koko VienneKoko Vienne is a singer-songwriter born in Hiroshima, Japan, who spent her early childhood in the UK, Germany, and Austria. Her music blends organic soundscapes with silky vocals, exploring themes of introspection and self-discovery. Drawing from authentic soul and world music, her sound is minimal yet deeply expressive. Her influences include Cleo Sol, Khruangbin, Raveena, Ichiko Aoba, Arooj Aftab, Carole King, and Dorothy Ashby. In May 2025, she released her debut solo EP "Time for Myself", mixed by Nick Herrera (known for his work with Hiatus Kaiyote) and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios. In September of the same year, she held her EP release show at Haretara Sorani Mame Maite in Daikanyama, Tokyo, with FiJA as the opening act. In May 2026, she released the first 12-inch vinyl edition of Time for Myself. She is currently working on new material that aims to convey landscapes and emotions beyond words.
