Kiwako Ashimine

Singer/songwriter/producer from Okinawa. In 2015, she won the Grand Prix and the Audience Award at the 8th MusicRevolution, the largest music contest in Japan organised by Yamaha, out of 4,522 pairs and 10,127 applicants. In 2016, she released her first mini-album "TROPICAL GREEN" and received the Okinawa Block Award at the 9th CD Shop Awards. In the same year, she sang the theme song 'Wasureji no Kotonoha' for the smartphone game 'Grimnotes' distributed by Square Enix, and in April 2019 began her freelance music career, utilising her unique voice that mixes transparency and presence, while expanding her activities in various forms, including media appearances, singing for TV commercial and dramas.
