Keisuke Shimatani

Keisuke Shimatani won the KAWAI Music Competition National Competition Grand Prize in 1973. Graduated Department of Piano Performance Master degree at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, USA in 1983. Awarded the Excellence Award by the PI KAPPA LAMBDA Music Association and became a lifetime member.He studied with Leonard Shure who was principal assistant of Great Historic Pianist, Artur Schnabel. He is a very unique pianist who specializes in expressions in various musical fields as well as classical music.
