Artist Profile

Kazha NanamureKazha Nanamure Guitarist / Performing Artist Kazuha Nanamure began his musical journey with the piano at an early age before turning to the guitar. After graduating at the top of his class from a professional music college, he launched his career as a professional guitarist, performing on nationwide tours, releasing numerous recordings, and being featured in music publications. He later pursued an in-depth study of jazz while working as a music instructor and session guitarist. Drawing from a diverse musical background spanning jazz, rock, metal, and fusion, Nanamure has developed a distinctive guitar style that combines advanced technique, improvisational freedom, and a deeply lyrical sense of melody. Alongside his work as the guitarist of the rock band GENGAH., he releases original instrumental music and performs live under his solo name, Kazuha Nanamure. Unbound by conventional genre boundaries, his solo work explores evocative and narrative-driven musical expression through the guitar, creating music that suggests landscapes, emotions, and stories beyond words. In recent years, Nanamure has further expanded his artistic practice into the world of silent film accompaniment, studying traditional accompaniment techniques under Joichi Yuasa, one of Japan's leading silent film accompanists. In 2026, he joined the newly formed Colored Monotone as an accompanist, opening a new chapter in his career through the art of live silent film scoring, where improvisation and visual storytelling converge.
