Kawabe MotoSinger-songwriter / musician.
Born on Suo-Oshima in Yamaguchi Prefecture and raised in Nara. In 2009, he began his career as the vocalist and guitarist of Mitsume, releasing six albums and performing extensively in Japan and abroad.
Following the band's hiatus, he launched his solo career, releasing a self-recorded split EP with Summer Eye in December 2025 and beginning band-oriented studio recordings in 2026 with engineer Toshihiko Kasai.
Handling everything from songwriting and arrangement to recording, mixing, and artwork, he produces his work independently while collaborating with others as needed. Alongside his solo work, he also writes and produces for other artists and composes music for commercial projects, maintaining a wide-ranging musical practice.
