Kairava KirtanBorn in Okinawa, Japan.
In 2012, while traveling with her family, she encountered Kirtan, the devotional chanting tradition of India, and began singing despite having no previous musical experience.
In 2014, she started performing on the streets of the UK. Since then, she has continued traveling with her children and ukulele, sharing Kirtan across Japan and abroad.
In 2016, she became a disciple of H.H. Mahavishnu Swami and received the spiritual name Kairava Devi Dasi.
Now based in Okinawa, she leads an annual summer Kirtan tour throughout Japan, while also offering original songs, acoustic performances featuring Okinawan folk songs, Kirtan Practitioner Courses, and music lessons. Through her music and teachings, she shares a life rooted in song and prayer.
