KIYOKOIn 2025, Japanese musician Ikko, who loves UK rock, formed a band called "KIYOKO" with Kara, a comic artist living in Liverpool.
This is a rare band where English and Japanese are sung at the same time in the songs.
Kara, the vocalist and writer of english lyrics, sometimes showing her presence as a light-hearted persona, and at other times shows her powerful side. Ikko, who is in charge of composition, forms music that only "KIYOKO" can do whilst being influenced by both UK guitar bands and J-Pop.
A young Brit influenced by Japanese music, anime, manga, and games cross-fades with a Japanese Beatles fanatic. Soon, the music of this band will resonate all over the world and across oceans.
