Formed in the reggae heartland of Jamaica, DUNNS RIVER is a reggae band produced by Challi under the label MEDZ, with Ringo as the lead vocalist. The band's name comes from Dunn's River, a lush stream flowing in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Their 1st album "PON DE WAVE" features contributions from Jamaican greats such as Dean Fraser (saxophone) and Sly Dunbar (drums), solidifying their ties to the international reggae scene. Their single "Todoketai / Promised Land" also brings in other notable musicians like Robbie Lyn and Kirk Bennett.
Rooted in reggae, they add spices from each member's musical background, creating melodies that rise like springs, nostalgic yet new.With messages that stay grounded and real,DUNNS RIVER is bringing a fresh Reggae Breeze into Japan's music world.
