Chiguri Herb

Chiguri-Herb is a singer and songwriter based in Saitama, Japan. She started her music career as a backup vocalist during her teenage years. She then debuted as a soloist in her early 20s. Chiguri-Herb released her first album, "Omajinai" in 2007. Her second album "Negaigoto " was released in 2010. Throughout her career, Chiguri-Herb has drawn on her respect for the earth and nature to inspire her songwriting. Her lyrics express her compassion for nature through delicate use of the Japanese language. "Daijobu" is Chiguri-Herb's third album. Songs in this album are dedicated to those who feel constrained and anxious about Japan's current work culture, which places social stress on the individual. This culture of overworking distracts us from the natural world we live in. "Daijoubu" is a common Japanese phrase to express that something "is okay".
