Japanese Cannabis Activist Band, named "Chakkarz" "Chakkar" means light it up. Music is mixture of Reggae, Dub, Jam, Pop & pinch of Japanese 80's flavor. All of their songs are about legalizing marijuana and stoners dream. And due to Japanese strict law, all players are under different names. They released their 1st album on 8/8/2016, CD*s and 250 limited vinyl. Even though they didn't do promotion much for their first album, it ranked as top sales on chart at nation wide record store chain. The limited vinyl was raised up to $700 at internet auciton. Then rumor spreads around and that led to international festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival and Re:Birth Festival. Dj's like Gaudi and Mix Master Morris have storng passion on their music. 2nd Album Was released on 4/20/2018 At this point, they gained enthusiastic fans. They are releasing their first Dub mix Ep's on 8/8/2019, Dubbed by Japanese top Dub Mixers, Titled "DUB Chakkarz"
