CANDYSCANDYS, based in Sapporo, is an adult resilience idol group founded on the belief that anyone can keep pursuing their dreams-regardless of age or circumstances. Our mission is to encourage and empower all who dare to dream by continuing to challenge ourselves.
All of us are working professionals-such as radio personalities and office workers-who pursue our idol activities alongside our careers. We are not affiliated with any agency; instead, we self-produce everything, including event planning, bookings, music production, and costume design.
In September 2022, we performed at Bangkok Japan Expo 2022. We host five to six self-produced live events each year and have released around ten digital singles to date. In April 2025, four new fourth-generation members joined us, bringing the group to a total of seven members.
By delivering performances that express their authentic, unfiltered selves, CANDYS aims to connect with audiences of all ages and become a group that resonates with peoples lives-supporting and uplifting one another along the way.
