CALLASGUCHIIsao Yoshii (born in Musashino City, Tokyo)
Gomokutei Hiziki (born in Higashimurayama City, Tokyo)
They met in 1990 at Musashino Art Academy in Kokubunji.
They formed "Yoshimba" in 1991 at the Musashino Art University.
They debuted in 1998 on Teichiku Records, releasing two singles and one album.
They performed at the "Haruichiban Concert" in Osaka in 2001 and toured nationwide as Tetsuo Saito's backing band.
They went their separate ways in 2003.
In recent years,
Yoshii has appeared on NHK's "Shakin" as "The Budokans."
He has participated in "Yoshimba," "Currant Butter Sable," and supported "Budobatake."
Hiziki = After hosting music programs on FM Nishitokyo for 18 years,
he currently hosts music programs on Tama Lakeside FM in Higashimurayama City.
He has participated in "Michimachigaetaz" and "Chokkurachoitos," and as a support artist on "fishing with john."
In 2021, he relaunched as "Karasuguchi." He released two debut songs simultaneously.
He appeared at the 1st Kichijoji Folk Jamboree, performing alongside Hitoshi Komuro and Tetsuo Saito.
He has also started spin-off units such as "Musabees" with Atsuko Hiyajo, a classmate from Musashino Art University and originally from Okinawa, and "Hayashi to Karasuguchi" with former labelmate Kunihiro Hayashi.
In September 2023, he performed with Keiichi Sogabe and others at the "Sumikura Hiroshi 50th Birthday Live" held at Shibuya www.
In March 2024, he will perform at the Ueno Onshi Park Outdoor Stage as "Tadokoro Seiji with Karasuguchi."
In the spring of 2025, he will perform alongside his mentor, Saito Tetsuo, in a long-awaited master-disciple collaboration.
In the summer, he will perform live in Tokyo and Niigata with Niigata pop maestro Suzuki Megumi.
In 2026, he is planning to release a new album and hold live shows across the country.
