Originally from Sapporo and based in Kanagawa, BANBI creates a unique groove rooted in Hip Hop, blending Jazz, Soul, Funk, House, and Reggae with high-level scratching skills.
Beyond his solo work, including the EPs 2021 and POSSE CRUISE, he is active in the unit "BBQ POSSE" and serves as the live DJ for virtual singer KAF (including her Budokan performance).
Recently, he formed the band project NEO BURNING FIRES with Raimon (smorgas), making waves in the 2026 festival scene.
