AlbemA four-piece band consisting of nozakimugai (vocals), Shuhei Miyazaki (guitar), Tomonori Sato (bass), and Naru Furusawa (drums). Formed by college classmates, they are active in Tokyo. Starting in 2025, they have expanded to a six-piece lineup, adding a saxophonist and a dub mixer for their productions and performances.
Initially aiming for a post-rock and post-punk sound, they gradually shifted toward electro. Having gone through those phases, they now pursue a style centered on beats and groove, along with a free-form sound.
nozakimugai (vocals) is also active as a composer. He has composed film scores for works such as *The Most Harmless, Yet Too Aggressive* (directed by Ere Nakada, 2022), *As the Clouds Drift* (directed by Yang Liping, 2024), and *Yinhe* (directed by Haruto Kijima, 2026).
In April 2026, they releases the EP *Bones*.
