30%LESS FATFormed in Tokyo, Japan in 1999, **30%LESS FAT** is a melodic punk rock band that blends the emotional spirit of traditional Japanese *enka* with fast, energetic punk melodies. The band calls its unique style **"Enka Punk (Enka)"**, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and explosive.
The current lineup consists of Shu-ton (Vocals/Guitar), Satopa (Guitar), Takafumi (Guitar), Souta (Bass), and Matchan (Drums).
The band's very first demo CD sold out all 300 copies on the day of their live debut without any prior promotion. Staying true to their motto, **"We don't run fast, but we never stop,"** they have continued performing and releasing music for over 27 years.
Although maintaining a modest live schedule, 30%LESS FAT has built a passionate nationwide fanbase through their recordings. Their signature song **"Seishun Ryojo "** was selected as the entrance music for Toshiya Sato of the Chiba Lotte Marines, introducing the band's music to an even wider audience.
To date, they have released five full-length albums, one best-of album, several mini albums, and live DVD productions. Every December, they hold their annual one-man concert, attracting dedicated fans from across Japan.
With heartfelt vocals, high-speed melodic punk energy, and a sound unlike any other, 30%LESS FAT continues to create their own unmistakable brand of Japanese punk.
