Dan Kubo, an artist based in Tokyo, is known for his solo project called 1e1 (pronounced "jəl") and CHLRX (Chaleureux) and also a member of the creative collective Laastc. Laastc: Art & music collective based in NY, London, and Tokyo formed by art student from Central Saint Martins, Parsons School of Design, and Tokyo University of the Arts.
