The Dutch producer was a member of early 00’s hip-hip, jazz and beatdown collective Rednose Distrikt, releasing on labels like Kindred Spirits and Rush Hour. The Padded Room is very much a dance record with strong elements of soul, jazz, fusion and latin melded together. With special guest appearances from soul vocalist Damani Leidsman, Kindred Spirits Ensemble flutist Hans Litz, New Cool Collective percussionist Jos De Haas, and soul collective The Dangerfeel Newbies, the result a cumulative showpiece.
